QLI Lab

The Quantitative Light Imaging (QLI) Laboratory is located at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Directed by Prof. Gabriel Popescu, the lab is focused on developing novel optical methods based on light scattering, interferometry and microscopy to quantify structure and dynamics of cells and tissues. Hosted by the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and The Beckman Institute for Advanced Science and Technology, the QLI Lab is performing highly interdisciplinary research at the interface between technology development, basic biological studies and clinical applications.
